  • Official Take Off Site: At the top of the telecabin, 'Pas de Maimbré' (2363m) either from the South or East facing slopes.
  • Official Landing Site: 'Bré' (1150m) on the main road to Anzère from Ayent. The landing area is on the left-hand side of the road after the village of Saint-Romain.
  • Warning: pay particular attention to the overhead electrical cables on the west side of the landing area.
  • In the spring and summer months, primarily in the afternoons, there is strong thermal activity at the landing area. It is recommended that you land at the intermediate stop, near the telecabin.
  • Information concerning opening hours of the telecabin can be found at the Local Tourist Information Office:

  • The Ecole de Parapente d'Anzère provides a minibus service when the telecabin is not open.
  • Warning: the skies of Anzère can be dangerous and unpredicable due to a weather phenomenon called the ‘Foehn’, a dry hot wind that occurs in the Swiss and Austrian Alps. Contact the Ecole de Parapente d'Anzère for more information.
